Sheffield - thoughts?

I have the choice of picking up Sheffield or Pierre as a bench OF/DH. It's a weekly H2H points league. What do you guys think? I really want to pick up Sheffield because he could pay bigger dividends, but Pierre seems like a much safer pick at this point. Sheffield is doing nothing since he started his rehab.

Updating a previous report, Eric Lacy, of The Detroit News, reports the Detroit Tigers activated DH Gary Sheffield (oblique) from the disabled list Tuesday, June 24. It is not known if Sheffield will be in the team's starting lineup Tuesday, June 24.
