Any suggestions as to how to fairly set the waiver priorities if you do an auction? It's a keeper, so we've been just doing reverse rank from last year, but I'm not a huge fan of that. Any other ideas?

That's the way I'd do it. Give everyone a budget and make people bid to acquire players on waivers. In the event of a tie, the team lower in the standings gets the player.

Don't know about Inukchuk's league, but in my league, I considered FAAB (it's supported by the website) but decided against it because our league is already the most complicated league that everyone is involved in as it has auction, keepers, custom stats, and starting this year minor league players. I like the purity of the FAAB but ultimately decided it was one place where the added value wasn't worth the added complexity.
But if you're dealing with people who have done fantasy baseball for 10 years, it's probably the best solution.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.
I would actually like to use FAAB, but I'm unsure how to pull it off without eliminating my own bias. Our provider doesn't offer it (by the way, do any?), so I would imagine that the only way would be to have other managers email their bids to me. If I were Joe Schmoe in my league, I'd be a little wary about the fact that the commish has access to my waiver bids...thoughts?

True, but as you know, some of the best fantasy mangers are tools
Guys, I appreciate the input. I think I will run FAAB by the league and see what kind of response I get. It seems like it adds quite a bit of strategy to prospect adds...

We set up a hotmail account for our league where people send the bids. I still have to check it so but it adds a level of separation.
I am in an auction that is 18 player auction and 10 player draft following the auction. Draw a card to determine position for draft. Waiver order is reverse of draft order to start.
