According to Yahoo, Kemp will be splitting time with Ethier in the OF when Andruw comes back.
He may still play since we dont know how long Pierre is going to be out, but I do think this is a good move for the time being. He definetly isnt making the adjustments he needs to make.

His BABIP is really high right now, and with such a K rate you have to expect his average to continue to drop. I am trying to shop him right now with no buyers for some reason.
he hasnt been too hot but i feel like he will pick it up again and thats when ill be lookin to shop him

I moved him for Longoria like two or three weeks ago. I'm a very happy camper.

I thought the quote on Yahoo about Kemp platooning was kinda funny...
Jun 29: Kemp will apparently share time with Andre Ethier once Andruw Jones (knee) returns from the DL after the All-Star break, the Dodgers' official site reports.
Recommendation: Parking at Chavez Ravine: $15. Dodger Dog: $6.50. Making your best outfielder a part-time player: priceless.

Right now it stands at .376 so he's shown that he can sustain a high BABIP eben with all those K's.
He's a little streaky, but when he's on he'll bring his AVG up a lot and I think he'll be at least .300 by seasons end.
Also his line drive percentage is just over 25% now which also suggests that he can sustain a very high BABIP

I don't have any facts to back this up, but faster players typically have a higher BABIP. Just make sense that he'll beat out more groundball, slow rollers then Cecil Fielder would.

Jun 30 Kemp missed Monday's game with an "irritated eye", reports the Dodgers' official web site.
Recommendation: Apologies to Joe Torre for lambasing his Young-Repko-Ethier outfield. Consider Kemp day-to-day, but this doesn't appear serious.

Anyone else just wish Kemp would get traded to someone that would give him a full-time job, and a good spot in the lineup?
