seems silly to me to trade kemp for an older, closer to FA hitter like adam dunn.

If not who do you think the Dodgers will trade him for?
why do you think the dodgers would trade him? hes one of the best OF prospects in baseball
Jun 12 FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal reports the Los Angeles Dodgers could trade for virtually any hitter on the trade market if they decide to deal OF Matt Kemp. "If we get to the point where we can definitively improve ourselves, we'll do it," general manager Ned Colletti.
What are they thinking?? Oh that's right not much as usual. They were also shopping LaRoche in the offseason. Keep Pierre and A.Jones, lose Kemp, and keep Nomar lose LaRoche. Colletti needs a PhD in GMing.

Yeah, I read that Rosenthal piece a couple of days back. Trading Kemp in a package for Dunn, Bay, or Ordonez makes no sense for various reasons and I don't see us landing Holliday, though that's the best option if we ever had to deal Kemp, but I tend to think each of those scenarios is unlikely. The management is getting impatient and they've made some dopey moves, which wouldn't surprise me in the least. The ownership and front office management are a bloody travesty.
