Melbourne, FL (Sports Network) - The Montreal Expos on Sunday agreed to terms with pitcher Zach Day and outfielder Endy Chavez.
Day finished with a 9-8 mark and a 3.86 earned run average in his first major league season last year. Day, 25, posted a 4-1 record with a 2.77 ERA before going on the disabled list in May with a shoulder injury.
Chavez batted .251 with five home runs and 47 RBI in 141 games for Montreal in the 2003 season. The 26-year-old also stole 18 bases for the Expos.
