Hoping VMART and his big fat burrito a%s goes on DL

Postby frank69m » Thu Jun 12, 2008 1:39 am

Dudes, 0 homers. Come on, this is embarassing for the #1 ranked catcher this year. I got him in the 3rd or 4th round which as way too early.

It might help if he ate a healthier diet. I mean, come on, look how fat he is. Probably too much high carb burritos and tacos. He's pretty young and should be able to take it.

Hope for a DL or serious injury so I can drop this jerk off for Navarro or someone.

So basically, the best situation for us VMART owners is for him to go on the DL for two months, eat better (not the Andrew Jones and Mig Cab diet) by eating more veggies and fruits and not eat the high carb foods. I think if he loses weight and exercises more, he might be stronger, faster and less prone to injuires now. If he gets DL'd for 2 months, that would be fantastic. Then he can go on a tear the final two months.

No, he's simply hoping VMart can take a vacation so that he'll eat more fruit and vegetables. As everyone knows, when you are inactive, you automatically gravitate toward a healthier lifestyle. Come on, man... ;-)

Let's hope he's one of the lucky ones that does. I once lost a bunch of weight by exercising more, but unfortunately I became weaker, faster, and then broke my finger. I guess I should have eaten more fruit and vegetables... :-D

Isn't Mexico considered South America? Anyway, VMart does need to go on the 15 day DL to rest up so he can finish strong. I'd say if he were to miss a month he'd be in good shape.

If, that is, he were to eat his fruit and vegetables, take his vitamins, and pray every day. CUZ THAT'S WHAT ALL THE LITTLE HULKAMANIACS DO, BROTHER!!!

Oh, and Mexico's in Central America, not South... ;-D

:-? was this a joke?

He has been a major disappointment, especially in my 20-teamer where I took him in the second round last year. I fully expect him to bounce back - the Indians as a whole have been very disappointing.

Man, so many threads about VMART, I just have to laugh. A lot of people I drafted with this year took VMART way toooo early for my taste. Some took him before some stud OFers. I never, ever, ever take a catcher early. I've had good luck with catchers- drafting Jorge in rd 10 last year, Soto in round 17 this year, and Bengie Molina in rd 15 in another league. HAHAHAHA
