The original report was at least 6 weeks. But, Eric Young(BT analyst) says that it will probably be longer because it is his left hand. This is Soriano's top hand, the one that supplies most of the power and torque when swinging. For Soriano it will be worse because of his long time habit of using a longer and heavy bat than most other players.
