With the Braves rotation being so dinged up, is this guy worth taking a flier on in a deep league? His minor league stats aren't overwhelming, but the Braves in theory should be getting wins. Thoughts?

Basically dont look at morton stats before this yr because this yr he revamped his whole pitching motion and mechanics so he is a totally different pitcher. Its intersting to see what he does on sunday.. i think he can beat out a job from reyes or maybe send campillo back tothe pen because hes been doing ok since starting. His AAA numbers this yr have been very good though. worth a flier in deeper leagues

Pretty good outing by Morton today. Any chance he'll stick around? I know Cox said he would get one more start. Is he just a DL fill in while Glavine is out? Who has a better chance at sticking? Reyes, Campillo, or Morton? I guess it depends on how Jurrjens does on Sunday. Braves have a lot of rotation questions right now.

morton is their top pitching prospect so i'm sure he can beat out campillo for a rotation spot. i would think that he will stay in the rotation as long as he is solid like last night. IMO campillo will be put in the bullpen, unless he already is in the bullpen...i havn't monitored that situation in a couple days.
