Excerpt of a story about Papelbon and ex-wife porn:
Rotoworld wrote:He pulls out of his shirt pocket some pictures of his recent trip to some Caribbean Island. The first few pictures look innocent enough with him and some hot chick who apparently was his ex-wife. The 4th picture shocks you: his ex-wife is COMPLETELY naked...and it goes on from there...we're talking about a complete pornographic sequence here. ... One of them gets the idea that the "moneyshot" picture should be shown to the players in the Red Sox bullpen. So he folds the picture and flicks it over the railing so that it lands in the steps of the bullpen. And that is when the party really started.Papelbon comes out of the dugout during the game holding the picture in his hand with a bemused face looking for the guy who threw the picture.
I love how they wanted and got the "Hammer's" autograph on a photo.

menyak's going to have to work on allowing the friendliness meter to go into negatives. 0% just does not do you justice.
Well if you think it's appropriate, you guys should get right on that.
BTW, it's not like you don't think exactly the same thing about Boston.
Mookie might talk trash but we love him.

You should stop focusing on all the things that you hate, like the joy of others. You're going to die before you turn 30 if you worry more about things you hate than more important things.
I don't know how non-Yankees fans can hate the Red Sox. Great front office, excellent manager, entertaining players. What's not to like?
Personally, I've always had disdain for Boston as far back as I can remember because of the Celtics. I don't take it as personal as I do against Real Madrid, but I found it fun to laugh at the Red Sox curse and their fans being the most over-paranoid lot on this side of the pond. In recent years, because Boston sports has been successful, it's natural that there would be haters, especially picking on the bandwagon jumpers; it's absolute human nature.
Based off what I see on this board and from people I know who are Boston ex-pats, Bostonians don't quite understand this notion and ask "why", why everyone is so vocal about folks developing such animosity. I think such an attitude does annoy anti-Boston folks to say you're all a nonchalant lot and my advice is get used to it. I say this as an Angeleno, with the preconceived notion that L.A. is the most hated city on the planet and I've learned over the years that no matter where I go, I could care less about what people thought about by my hometown and the L.A. teams I supported.
As for the story, it's great to see that even in a world where sports figures are quite aloof in their relationship to the fans for whatever reason, and reading this story is quite funny and refreshing.
