Listening to a local radio station this afternoon, the sportscaster said that Scherzer in his first 2 appearances w/the D'Backs he just threw FB and slider, while in the rest of his appearances he added a curve and changeup. To him plus the demotion clearly pointed to him getting stretched out to start up here VERY soon. Owings is the guy he would likely replace. Keep a close eye on how Micah fares his next start, and should it go poorly and Max is available, but ready to jump quickly.
While this is only speculation, I agree with this. He is currently available in both my leagues.
