Shortstop and second base are in my opinion the shallowest positions.. Let's check out the shortstops in this thread, and I'll start the second baseman thread soon after this is loaded
1. Alex Rodriguez
2. Nomar Gariaparra
3. Miguel Tejada
4. Edgar Renteria
5. Derek Jeter
6. Orlando Cabrera
7. Rafael Furcal
8. Jose Valentin
9. Rich Aurilia
10. Kaz Matsui
And you guys?

I agree that second base is a very shallow poistion with only two guys worthy of going in the first 5 rounds (Soriano and Boone) but shortstop is much deeper than you think. With five short stops that could easily go in the first 4 rounds plus Kaz and the fact that Reyes is eligible for SS it makes it a pretty solid position. I think the two weakest fantasy postions are second base and catcher.

Keep an eye on Julio Lugo. If you compared his numbers from last season to Jeter's, you'd be pleasantly surprised.
Also, I think Rollins is going to have a bounce back year.

Also keep an eye on Michael Young. 15 games and you can add him to that list.

1. A-Rod
2. Renteria
3. Tejada
4. Nomar
5. Jeter
6. Furcal
7. Cabrera
8. Berroa
9. Reyes
10. Matsui
And 3B and C, not just 2B, are shallower than SS.

You're gonna need Young at 2B, however.....
