Anyone see any reason why the Rays wouldn't activate him when he is eligible on the 13th?

I heard an interview with him on the drive home last night. He was talking to the Angels broadcasters. He said he was very disappointed that he wasn't available to play during the series with the Angels, and it was ironic that he'd be activated the day he leaves Anaheim. So, at least he thinks he'll be activated on the 13th.

Just read that he is expected to be activated this Friday and that he will immediately resume closing duties.

Tristan H. Cockcroft's Answer: Back Friday, from all indications. And that surprises me a little, because hamstring injuries can sometimes take a bit more than the DL minimum.

The Rays are expected to activate Percival (hamstring) off the DL on Friday, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Spin: Percival has been throwing all week and will wind up serving no more than the minimum on the DL. He'll immediately resume closer duties with the Rays, moving Dan Wheeler back to his normal eighth-inning role.

They said all along that they only placed him on the DL as a precaution. That he probably didn't need 15 days, but why not just give it to him. He's old and probably needed it. I fully expect him to be activated tonight, and resume closing. Let's just hope he avoids any setbacks/new injuries!!
