Actually I figured it out....my sound was muted.

I double clicked on the little speaker icon in the bottom right of my screen and presto! sound.

Guess I should thank you Snakes for helping fix my speakers.

I reeeeeally need to come out there and hang with you for a couple of days. If that's the problem, there may be other things I could show you to get that PC of yours up and running right.

I didnt try it on ie just firefox. I'm at work now on my iphone so I can't make any progress but all signs point to a problem with my flash. My volume controls are all fine so its not something in credibly simple

Maybe you using your capslock earlier confused your computer and it disabled your speakers to compensate.
