It was at Colorado, though, so it was a hard start to use anyways. I like him much more next week pitching at home vs. Seattle.
Unfortunately his next starts appear to be against the Yankees and then the Cardinals (who should have Pujols back by then).

I've never understood using a player's career stats against a certain team as evidence that they will/can play well or poorly against that team. Team rosters are so volatile that it provides zero information on how a player will perform against a certain team whose roster is significantly different from last year, yet alone 8 years ago.
I wouldn't start him against his Daddy, aka the Yankees, next week. But St. Louis? There are a few black holes in that lineup, and even Ryan Ludwick will probably strike out once or twice against him. Of course Pujols will probably stick it to him, but solo homers aren't such a bad thing...
