Rockies OF Matt Holliday went 0-for-2 with a walk and two strikeouts in his first rehab appearance at Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday. He's been out since May 25 with a strained left hamstring. According to the Rocky Mountain News, the team hopes he can return in time for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Holliday returning on Tuesday
Colorado left fielder Matt Holliday is set to return to the Rockies lineup on Tuesday for the opener of a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants, according to MLB.com.
Our View: Holliday has been nursing a left hamstring sprain, but three rehab games with Triple-A Colorado Springs without incident has put him on course to return touting a .321 batting average with eight home runs and 26 RBIs.
