All right... I'll take you at your word. My team is near the bottom of the page.

Because of your league configuration, high average guys and starting pitchers will have more value. So, that being said...

Trade a 2nd baseman for an outfielder. Somebody with a high average. Maybe try for something like Boone and Guillen for 2 high average outfielders. But having Baldelli and Kearns on the bench should be your saving grace, so you don't have to do anything.

Regarding pitching... You're in trouble. Starters are overvalued in your league, because of the IP stat. Your ace is Nomo. Your #2 is Livian Hernandez. Trade Gagne now for a starter to be your ace. Maybe you can get Hudson or somebody like that. But in your league, saves are even less important.

Anyway. Good luck.

i made a trade hoffmen for pierre to try to improve hits avg and sbs
and i purposed a trade kent for mulder... i'm also going to try to trade a ss for a pitcher... its a head to head so i think if i can win the offensive stats and whip era and saves i'll be ok

you have some great hitters,a nd your bench is pretty solid. you need some more speed, so try to trade for someone like pierre or reyes. your sp aren't great, though.

best infield I've seen drafted by far! Offense looks solid. Work on another SP or two via trade or the WW. Keep an eye open this spring, you may find what your looking for their!

decent team, i would trade one of my secondbasemen for a better outfeilder. and since IP counts i would get rid of some of my batters depth and stack of on pitchers.

You traded away an aging closer with a 40% tear in his shoulder for Pierre? Nice move.

I don't know that you can afford to give up on SPs. You'd be punting IP, W, and K every week. But you've got a nice collection of closers, so that's good. You've got a lot of good bench players you could trade (or one of your 2 stud 2bs).

But, really. Nice work on Hoffman for Pierre. I think you'll be very happy with that.
