How Do I Fix This Mess?

Postby Santana4Cy » Sat Jun 07, 2008 9:18 pm

I'm sitting in 2nd place right now in my 12 team, 5x5 roto league. However, I'm 30.5 points behind the leader. I don't think my team is that bad, but I can't figure out why my team scores no runs at all. Here's my stats and then my roster:

(The second number in brackets is what the guy in 1st has).
Runs: 1 point [358] [460]
HR: 6.5 points [91] [102]
RBI: 9 points [395] [432]
SB: 6 points [54] [75]
AVG: 4.5 points [.273] [.282]
W: 12 points [45] [38]
SV: 10.5 points [49] [59]
K: 12 points [562] [514]
ERA: 11 points [3.55] [3.19]
WHIP: 11 points [1.25] [1.23]

Here's my roster:

C: R. Martin
1B: M. Teixeira
2B: J. Kent
3B: A. Gordon
SS: J. Reyes
CI: C. Kotchman
MI: C. Guillen
OF: C. Crawford, M. Kemp, R. Ibanez
U: R. Church, E. Brown
BN: J. Thome, J. Varitek, S. Schumaker, Al. Ramirez

SP: J. Verlander, S. Marcum, B. Colon, R. Dempster, R. Halladay, M. Mussina, J. Lannan, Od. Perez, T. Redding, D. McGowan
RP: J. Nathan, M. Rivera, B. Wilson, S. Shields

You have a very balanced team and I think you may have just been at the end of bad luck so far. Kent missed a few games and Reyes started off slow. The Mets will start to score more runs so I think Reyes will improve. Ibanez is streaky so watch him. Texeira is a 2nd half player so he will get better as the weather warms up. Please help with mine
