28 hits in his past 14 innings pitched over 3 games is awful. It is time to cut bait and look for better options. His upcoming schedule is brutal as well.
He's looking great so far this year, I have been impressed with this kid. I think the Braves got the better end of the Jurrjens-Renteria trade thus far.

Cubs away, Coors and then heading into AL parks.
he hasn't given up an earned run since this post .

But NZ Eff is never wrong so there has to be a mistake.

I've used Jurrjens in all three of my leagues this year at some point. I dropped him in the only one I owned him in back in late May and have not regretted it.
He can pitch, no doubt about that at all and obviously the blister problems he had in May contributed to his poor outings. However, I'm still not convinced he is anything better than a 4th / 5th starter from here.
Still, hard to beat what he's done in mid-late June and my advice to cut bait on him was clearly premature. Since my SP is stacked in all of my leagues he was certainly surplus to my requirements and still is. For many other owners, Jurrjens obviously still has value.
He's not going to give you crazy K's or help the WHIP too much, but he's a groundball pitcher with a good natural sinking fastball at 91-94 mph who will give you about 6 IP per start and a chance to win.
He definitely has value, but it depends who's out there on your waiver wire. I'd judge Jon Sanchez (SF) and Kevin Slowey (MIN) as superior options to him at this point.
