Um, don't we kinda need to get young pitching? I mean, the Unit would be awesome, but I don't want to be the Yankees. I actually want to develop young players, not just reload every offseason.

Going to huge someday.
when Yankees GM Brian Cashman heard talk Wednesday of a trade that might send outfielder Trot Nixon from the Boston Red Sox to the Arizona Diamondbacks for left-hander Randy Johnson, he reached for his phone.
According to a person close to the situation, Cashman began making calls to the appropriate parties to make sure that, if the Diamondbacks were trading Johnson, the Yankees would have a chance to get him.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
Yes, even though I am not Red Sox fan you do need young starting pitching, but so does every team in baseball. From the outside looking in, RJ would be a tremendous asset to Boston.
How do you beat great hitting? With pitching, and you have half of what already beat them, why not make it complete?

so you're basically saying, you don't want to make it to the world series 6 out of the last 7 years, and you dont want to have 26 or 27 or however many championships? right...... very logical.

What he said made sense to me.
But that doesn't appear to be the main course on Boston's menu.

(PS, im not a yankee fan, i actually loath them)
I know this sounds weak, and you can call me an idiot(I really dont care), but I want to win a World Series legitamally, with team chemistry, and respectable guys. Thats how the Yankees used to win World Series! Then again, if the Sox do win a world series, Boston will burn down.....
