I'd love to see people roll out keeper rankings again.

A-Rod would still be number one unless the league is set up to last for the next 20 years(pretty much impossible), and even the, the next 10 years of A-Rods career will be likely unmatched by anyone else out there.

well, arod is turning 33 end of july. it would be quite possible for him to start declining within a few years. to expect him to be the best player in baseball up until he is 43 seems overly optimistic. it just doesnt happen often

This is the 2nd year of my 16 team $ keeper league (the long, boring details of the keeper rules can be found here)

We didn't want everyone to be able to keep their top 6 picks, we wanted some value to fall back into the draft pool each year. So we made a tiering system. You can keep 2 guys from draft rounds 1-7, 2 guys from 8-14 and 2 guys from 15-22/undrafted.

I kept the following players last year:

Ortiz (My 1st pick last year) !+)
Sizemore (My 2nd pick last year)
Chris B Young
Alex Gordon
Lincecum
Kemp

Here is who the rest of the league kept:

Team A: Homer Bailey, Jeremy Hermida, Ted Lilly, Conor Jackson, Russell Martin, José Reyes
Team B: Mark Buehrle, Adam LaRoche, Francisco Liriano, Johan Santana, Brandon Phillips, Carlos Zambrano
Team C: Dan Haren, Carlos Lee, Bengie Molina, Aaron Rowand, Alfonso Soriano, José Valverde
Team D: J.J. Hardy, Scott Kazmir, Ian Kinsler, Hunter Pence, Oliver Pérez, C.C. Sabathia
Team E: Cole Hamels, Shane Victorino, Ryan Theriot, Ichiro Suzuki, Derek Lowe, Carlos Mármol,
Team F: Brad Penny, Mark Teixeira, Chris Young, B.J. Upton, Pedro Martínez, Mike Lowell
Team G: Albert Pujols, Adam Dunn, Tike Redman, J.C. Romero, Manuel Corpas, C.J. Wilson
Team H: Josh Beckett, Miguel Cabrera, J.D. Drew, Curtis Granderson, Mike Jacobs, Víctor Martínez
Team I: Carlos Beltrán, Jeff Francis, Corey Hart, Matt Holliday, John Maine, Nick Swisher
Team J: Francisco Cordero, Mark Ellis, Ryan Howard, Tim Hudson, Torii Hunter, Jorge Posada
Team K: Adrián González, Plácido Polanco, Carlos Peña, Jonathan Papelbon, Hanley Ramírez, Chase Utley
Team L: Pat Burrell, Matt Capps, Prince Fielder, Josh Fields, Jake Peavy, Troy Tulowitzki
Team M: Erik Bedard, Joba Chamberlain, Carl Crawford, Phil Hughes, Manny Ramírez, Magglio Ordóñez
Team N: Ryan Braun, Fausto Carmona, James Loney, Jimmy Rollins, Rafael Soriano, David Wright
Team O: Howie Kendrick, Roy Oswalt, Geovany Soto, Álex Rodríguez, Javier Vázquez, Brad Hawpe

Success!!!! Can we discuss now? Thats all I want. The list was made not to be used but to open the discussion. PLease begin to pick it apart and maybe we can all come to a master list type deal.
