This kid had a rough couple starts, albeit a handful, with the rangers. He seems to have gotten his stuff together rather quickly. Kid throws high 90s gas, w/ a sick changeup. Reminds me of young Pedro Martinez. He is also still quite young, at 24.

Question is, what kind of future do you expect this kid to have?

I own him in a keeper league, and just want to get a general idea of what the fantasy world thinks of this kid. I think he has many Cy Youngs in his future if he remains healthy. Anyone else agree?

Classic. You couldn't ask for a better answer to that question than Wildbill just gave. :-b

Normally I would think about trying to deal a young guy like this the closer we get to the playoffs, but I'm wondering if in EV's case, it might be different. Most managers would try and cut down on IPs late in the season, but this is Dusty Baker we're talking about.

Thoughts?

I also wonder what the "Dusty-Factor" does to his value in keeper vs. Redraft leagues.
