I hate the Dodgers but all of it has to do with the Frank McCourt regime, which probably doesn't compare to Peter Angelos though I'm sure.
As far as switching allegiances, I wouldn't dream of it. As a Dodger fan, I have an inferiority complex when it comes to my perception of the Dodgers relative to the rest of the league, from management down to the players and the announcing team of Charlie Steiner and Steve Lyons who call Dodger road games on TV against non-NL/AL West opposition. I've grown to get a kick out of cursing and laughing at the Dodgers' mediocrity, without having to go into unchartered territory of being a self-deprecating Clipper fan (I don't think there is such thing in this city given they're all Laker fans again).

While Angelos is bad, he gets a really bad rap sometimes for no reason. Whenever a big move doesn't work out, he usually gets blamed, and if it does, he rarely gets credit. Honestly the guy doesn't actually do much other than write and sign checks, and occasionally veto a trade he hates (Laroche for Roberts comes to mind).

It would be a great world for sports if owners did nothing but write the checks.
The damn Yankees haven't even won a WS since 2000.
But really I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have to deal with a team that is just treading water in mediocrity or suckiness. I'm looking at you Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and San Francisco.
Sometimes I wish I wasn't a Knicks fan because watching them makes the Baby Jesus cry.
But then it's like, whatever. It'll just make the good times that much sweeter. Hopefully they happen before I go senile.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

It's even more frustrating to be in a division where two teams are willing to pay any amount necessary to win in a league without a salary cap. This is especially important on days like today when going over slot is very important. Though if Tampa actually wins the AL East (which I really doubt still) there goes that excuse for mediocrity.
