Tulo Update : Back in 2-3 weeks?

Postby BigTex24 » Thu Jun 05, 2008 3:35 pm

"He could head to the minors after a few more days of drills to test the strength of his injured quadriceps. "It's getting really close if there are no setbacks," Tulowitzki said. He might be able to rejoin the Rockies in two-to-three weeks if all goes well."

That's good news..

Looks to be from RotoWire...

It's from his ESPN player profile, which just sites RotoWire - no link provided, though.

Cool. Maybe time to buy low....but don't give up anything big for him as he may simply continue to disappoint this year. Next year, though....

Tulo was a monster last year in the second half. I think he is a great buy low candidate. I drafted him in my mid-year league in the 16th round, which is ridiculous considering the league doesn't start for another 2-3 weeks. Right about the time he comes back, we will be starting our season.

I'm sitting tight on him unless I get a killer offer. He'll cost my 25th round player to keep next year. I tried filling the SS hole off the wire in a deep 14 teamer and ended up trading for Peralta just to get someone a little better.

Thing we need to remember IMO is, this isn't an injury that he fought all year and can therefore attribute his terrible play thus far to, so maybe he's going to do about the same on return. Got to wait and see I spose..

FWIW there is a similar or the same blurb on his ESPN player profile as well.

I just picked him up off the FA list. Owner dropped him a few days ago. ;-D

I got some tough decisions. Guzman is my replacement for Tulo and has been a hit and run producing machine.
