Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I was surprised by that as well. Is there some concern that he might go to school?
his mom sent out a letter to all the teams that he would go to school if he wasn't given from $10MM-$15MM, highly likely that hes unsignable
He is probably off to UNC. He wanted top 10 money, and that is not going to happen.

The Astros taking Castro makes no sense to me. But then again it is the Astros so it is about par for the course.

Maybe convert him to a 3B?
doesnt make sense to draft someone high due to being a catcher and then shift him over, that would make it more of an overdraft imo

Then maybe convert Towles to a 3B? As of right now they have no solid 3B, and Towles is a good hitter besides what his average seems to say. I don't know. t was a terrible pick, I agree.
So who do you guys think will have the most impact next year?
