ROTO Cafeholics Masters 1st of 15 Cafeholics Challenge 11th of 14
H2H H2HWS Missouri 2nd of 12 H2HWS USA West 7th of 12
Turning things around a bit...
Cafeholics Masters 2nd of 15 The top 4 or so are continually changing places with each other almost daily...good stuff Cafeholics Challenge 10th of 14 Slowly gaining some ground.... H2HWS Missouri 2nd of 12 Still solid here H2HWS USA West 2nd of 12 Had a real nice last 3-4 weeks and making my move....got the first place team this week I believe.
Things are going very well. Hoping to sustain the momentum.
2008: 37th ranked Yahoo PLUS Rotisserie Public team (24 weeks in top 45, 9 weeks as #1) 2006: 18th ranked Yahoo PLUS Rotisserie Public team (17 weeks in top 35)
I'm pretty happy with how my season has been going.
In 6th place out of 20 in the Harry Caray (cafe) league (dropped from 2nd in the last 2 weeks) - my hitters have gone ice cold recently (Chipper, AGon, Ellsbury) - I've lost an entire pitching staff except Halladay (Gallardo, Wang, Gorz (yuk) with Masterson and Kershaw sent to the minors). But thru some trades/waivers I've assembled a mediocre staff and an army of middle relievers. I've positioned myself to potentially place in the money, but it won't be easy
In my keeper (Twins forum) H2H points league, I'm 11-4 during my rebuilding year I've been wheeling and dealing high upside prospects for current studs (Reyes, Johan, Aram) I've also lost an entire pitching staff here with Hughes, McGowan and Myers (I also traded Gallardo before injury and Cueto at his peak), but it's not a deep league (12 teams) and easy to find decent SP's on the WW The playoffs will be a real crapshoot in this league since there is alot of pretty good but not great teams

H2H:
12 Angry Men (12-team dynasty league): 2nd place - 0.5 GB H2H World Series (14-team redraft): 1st place - 6.5 games in front H2HWS USA West (12-team redraft): 2nd place - 2.5 GB (was in 1st place for all but the first 2-3 weeks until now) H2HWS California (12-team redraft): 2nd place - 7 GB
Roto:
10-team NL Only: 9th place (9th thanks to Chase Utley) Fantasy Forum Challenge (19 teams): 8th place (a massive improvement from 14th/15th a few weeks back)
Let's see, again, I can't overcome the roto jinx. 9th out of 10 in the NL Only, 16th in the Forum Challenge.
H2H has always been my game, but I've slipped up in H2HWS California with an underachieving team, out of playoff position momentarily in a tight league after losing 6 matchups in a row.
H2HWS USA West - 3rd place (I'd say 8.5 games back now) - The wheels were coming off after losing big to 1st place but came back with a 10-2 win this past week.
12 Angry Men - 1st place - The lead was 7.5 games two weeks ago but my pitching anchored by Hamels has finally shown its weaknesses and my all-star hitting has underperformed.
H2H World Series - 1st place (16-17 games in front) - The one league I've dominated all season and have only lost once. Kind of funny and ironic because this was the team I was most down on.
H2H: Live Free or Dynasty (12-team dynasty cafe league): 2nd place, 9 games out of first 123Innings League (12-team 4-7 keeper): 1st place, 3 games ahead CBS public money league (10-team redraft): 1st place, 14-1, mucho points ahead, goofy league full of dummies
Roto: Cool Guys 3.0 League (14-team cafe league): 1st place, 13 points ahead of 2nd place
Deeper Keeper - 8th of 20. Top 6 go to the play-offs, and 5 teams are insanely close from 6th to 10th. My team has a big weakness in SP, and I'm hoping Buchholz/Sonnanstine/Pedro/Buerhle will have big 2nd halves. I haven't finished in the top 10 in this league yet, so play-offs would blow my mind.
Cold Stove League - 1st of 12. Over the last few weeks I've had a midas touch when it comes to short term hot hitters, and my pitching has been as awesome lately as I hoped for in the pre-season. I think the other guys in the league see my team as a fluke, but we've gone 14 weeks(?) and I've lost once.
Dynasty 101 - 2nd of 16. Magnificent team. I spent heavily in the off-season on free agents to make a very strong squad and it will coast effortlessly into the top half of the finals. This is the one I have to do the least to day-to-day, because on the non-existent free agent pool. Build it at the top of the hill and push.

Yahoo Private ($$$$$ League) 12 team H2H South Bend Bombers 1st of 12 2.5 games ahead
Yahoo Private ($$$$ League) 10 team 5X5 Roto CuBsIn08 1st of 10 81 3 pts up
Yahoo Private ($hyt Talkers League) 12 team 8x8 Roto MuFfDiVeRs 2nd of 12 1126.5 pts. 6pts back
Yahoo Public (Public) 12 team 5X5 Roto DaBulls 3rd of 12 79.5 15 pts back
Rough couple of weeks for DaBulls, but a trade is in the works to give me a jump start. Trades paying off for CuBsIn08! But, I do have Harang and Oswalt on that team, so I will have to scramble a bit, no one wants to bite on McLouth or Hunter!! The Muffs took a minor slip, but should be fine, cept for my Izzy/Franklin debacle.
