Several things have to happen for him to stay in the starting rotation. 1) He has to work on his stamina. and that will start by lowering his pitch count. as a closer it was not uncommn for him to throw 25-30 pitches in an inning. he started the spring with 25 in 1 innning. with that kind of pitch count he wont last past the 4 inning and then its back to the pen.
2) and 3) are with Mantei..He has to stay healthy. Comming back from TJ surgury this could be a problem and He has to be effective. Mantei has the stuff to do it just can he produce?
If BK can stay in the rotation he will be tuff. But I think he will probably end up back in the pen
