I don't know about you guys, but I'm really looking forward to the NBA Finals this year. I just saw this video on YouTube from the guys who run the site I play fantasy on and it got me really fired up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRztEpUXBEc
Let's go Celtics!!!...I am a Bull's fan, all the way, but, any team that goes against Kobe, I automatically become a fan of. I have truly hated Kobe ever since the day he was drafted (and then demanded a trade to a marketable city).

Charlotte didn't want him anyway. Which is hilarious to think about in retrospect.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

What makes it funnier, is that he was traded for Vlade Divac.
Yeah and Divac threatened to retire. Good memories.

The only reason I wanted a Lakers/Celtics series was to watch some of those Magic/Bird grinds on ESPN Classic.
I'm not a fan of either team or any of the players involved, so I don't care who wins. If I had to choose one, I'd go with the Lakers. I've always been a fan of Phil Jackson.
I'm pumped for this one. For any self-respecting Laker fan, you have to be. I was 4 or 5 years old when we beat Boston in '87 last time we played and I'll cherish this one.
The Times wrote a solid article this morning about how massive the Lakers/Celtics rivalry once was before the 80's:
