it's a shame but frankly with his grossly inconsistent career play i think this is a good thing for me, as carlos's abysmal season has hurt my team more than it has helped it.

Yeah I thought the same too. I am better off sitting him without using up a roster spot now anyway. Helton, Loney and DeRosa are available in my league so say hello to a better batting average I guess.
In my weekly league by Wednesday in all but 2 weeks I've lost someone for the rest of the week due to injury. Can't change the lineup mid-week so that's just a dead spot until Monday. The number of guys that have been on the DL at some point is obscene: Soriano, Rollins, Victorino, R. Soriano (dropped a long time ago), Kendrick (traded him), Doumit (dropped), C. Young (SD)...the list seems endless. Now Pena after I just traded for him. We're still leading our division but I feel snake bitten.
Sorry. Temporarily forgot the "there's no crying in baseball" rule. But this is fantasy baseball, right?
