good idea to re-grab this guy - he has no history of control problems so after he settles down it will be strikeout city!
Actually, Kershaw's walk rate per 9 was a bit high in the minors, but a great deal of scouts and those in the Dodger organization are hopeful that as he matures, so will his control and understandably so. Kershaw has a good approach to the plate, given the relatively high quality of his pitches, but is still learning to master them. When he finally does, he'll be every bit as good as advertised.
