any idea why Scott Shields hasnt pitched in the 8th inning the last 2 games?
Jose Arrendondo has pitched in the 8th inning the last 2 games.
Sheilds hasnt been used too much lately, last going on the 31st and then the 26th.
any reason out of LA?

Jun 2 RHP Scot Shields was unavailable after experiencing tightness in his left oblique muscle over the weekend. Shields said he first felt the pain while warming up in the bullpen Saturday night. He pitched a scoreless inning in relief against the Blue Jays that night but felt the pain again Sunday during his pregame workout. He will be re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
