This is an interesting development...
Jun 3 Updating a previous report, Dylan Hernandez, of the Los Angeles Times, reports Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Andy LaRoche played his last two games with Triple-A Las Vegas at second base. He made it through both games without an error and turned a double play Saturday, May 31.
In 98 AAA ABs Andy has a line of .265/.445/.398 but the most impressive thing is 33BB to 14Ks! He has 4 HR this year and he hit 18 HR in AAA last year while putting up a .309/.399/.589 line with 39 BB and 42 Ks. Andy was a good prospect at 3B, but a move to 2B would make him a great one. What are your thoughts on him for this season and beyond?

He's wildly under-rated by his own team.
You got the feeling they were falling over themselves this off-season to trade him away.
Maybe they're showcasing his positional flexibility to trade him at the deadline.
He'll be a big success for any other team.

LOL this is like an NL West trend. Block your top 3B prospect and then try to make him play out of position at second. Ian Stewart's already the biggest and arguably most awkward 2b in the league, I guess the Dodgers want to get in on that conversation.
