Top 10 or so prospect in '06...his stock as fallen off somewhat since but he is only 22 and still has plenty of potential. Only concerns right now is how much PT he'll get the rest of the year. At least stash him on your bench if you have a spot to do so.

I claimed him with a #7 waiver in a deeper keeper league I'm in. I'm gonna at least see what he can do.

After seeing the Jay Bruce explosion it is hard to not pick up someone who has a chance to be the next "big thing" or this year's "Ryan Braun." My gut tells me he will not have nearly that big of an impact, but he is very talented, and I did pick him up and as of now he is on my bench, but if he catches fire, who knows? I'm confident he is good enough to start on the As.

I think he see's a decent amount of playingtime. The home park isn't great, but I could see him having pretty good value in AL leagues, and might be a nice off day fill in kinda guy in mixed leagues.

Honestly how many Ryan Braun esc seasons are there every year?
Gonzalez may be a solid player, but I don't see him being much more then a fantasy backup this season. If that.

I know I know I did not mean i thought he was this year's Ryan Braun. If it seemed like that then I worded it poorly. I meant that if he could do something like Matt Kemp or Hunter Pence did. The fact that he was once a top 10 prospect shows that he does have plenty of talent and some upside, enough upside that he could, I repeat COULD, develop into a solid 3rd or 4th OF by year's end. I'd rather grab him than some washed up vet from the WW.
