That's the extra sexual party network for you...someone forgot to tell ESPN there's more teams out there than the Red Sox vs Yankees...nothing is even more nausiating then when they play each other. I don't care what A Rod eats for lunch to prepare for the Red Sox.
As for the Joba situation...moving him to the rotation this year is probably the worst move the Yankees could of made. Farnsworth is one of the biggest headcases there is. He can't handle the setup role, and there's nobody else to fill that role.

I think the Joba move is a bad one as well. He'll be on a pitch limit for at least a couple of starts, which means that they will have to overwork a old and decent at best bullpen. Once (and if...) Joba gets on track, bringing him into the rotation this year could be a wash. Come Playoff time, their bullpen could be washed up for a run.
Good risk longterm, not much sense for this season.

If I hear another person say that Joba joining the rotation is a bad move... Question for you geniuses. Do you want one of your best pitchers pitching 200 IP a year or 60 IP? I know it is complicated but it is not rocket science.
