Is miserable. He has great movement but can't control his pitches. His breaking balls from that arm slot spin and hang and every fastball he tried to throw outside ran inside. Hopefully he can get his location down with this delivery.

He is done as we knew him IMO. He might be serviceable but a shoulder injury to a pitcher at his age is career threatening.

Overreaction. Especially with someone like Smoltz. He was hitting 95 consistently and just needs to work on his control. The double should have been single but the left fielder wasn't paying attention. The Hermida hit was a ball that jammed him inside but it went to the right spot. I just wanted to see solid velocity. He has time and the longest leash possible to get down his accuracy.

We shall see... He's had shoulder problems since Spring Training.

If his only problem is location I dont think theres much to worry about. It's not like he is pulling a C Cordero.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

I agree here and I got Rafael Soriano on a close watch. Read what the DL Informer has to say about Smoltz and you might want to sell quickly on him.

I'm not worried about Smoltz...yet. But I do have Rafael Soriano as well (not that I'd call him healthy either, though

).
