I'm thinking San Diego's Chris Young is out for the season, does anybody think otherwise?
I haven't let him go yet but I"m getting an itchy trigger finger.

I doubt a broken nose would put you out for the season
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

But a broken face and a concussion would.

Nah, two weeks at most before a concussion's nothing but a minor headache when you over exert yourself. Broken faces heal pretty quickly since you rarely put stress on the face bones.

Yeah it was a bit more than a broken nose:
May 30 The Associated Press reports San Diego Padres manager Bud Black said SP Chris Young (nose) will probably need surgery to straighten his septum.
May 30 Young has a small crack in his skull and doctors have to wait for it to heal in order to avoid an infection in his brain, according to Padres manager Bud Black in the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Advice: Young is also still waiting for the swelling to go down around his nose after being hit in the face with a line drive on May 21. This could take some time for Young to get back on the field, so continue to monitor the developments.
May 24 RHP Chris Young suffered multiple fractures of nasal and facial bones, including a small fracture to his skull, Wednesday night when he was struck in the face by a line drive off the bat of Albert Pujols. Because of the swelling, it will be at least another week before it can be determined whether or not Young will need surgery. He must rest for another two weeks and there is no determination about the length of time he will be out.
---------- I hate to cut a talented pitcher but it doesn't sound good.

If he is on your DL then you should hold onto him. Even if there are no physical problems, where will he be mentally? That is something you cannot predict. Maybe he will be fine but maybe he won't.

I'd say he'll be out for the year, especially with the way the Padres are playing- no reason to rush him back.
He's very fortunate the pitch was way outside and Pujols didn't have a good swing at it.

Yeah no kidding, it could have killed him. When I heard the news I couldn't help but flash back to that poor seagull that got smoked by a Randy Johnson fastball.
