I quit reading when they got to the Sun Crusher. When you create a single-pilot vehicle than can supernova an entire solar system while remaining indestructible itself, you've sort of tapped out the creative potential of a story - and crossed into absurdity.

i didnt read that arc, i actually started with Vector Prime (Spoiler : The one where Chewbacca dies) and then started going back to the older books that were referenced while waiting for new New Jedi Order books to come out, but yeah, there are some absurd plotlines
The whole Jedi Academy story line was interesting, but that ship really took away from the enjoyment for me.
You read the stories with the creatures that were immune to the force, right? Everything I've read about that made it sound like those were incredibly interesting stories.
I'm pretty sure Jabba was immune in Return of the Jedi when Luke tried.
Only SW book I've read is Splinter of the Mind's Eye and only because I was Foster fan when younger and read most of what he wrote. It's amazing how many SW books there are. It's like them and Star Trek are vying for domination of the book store.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

yeah, they were pretty good...they battled a force immune alien race who abhorred technology and insted used living organisims for everything (ships were alive, armor was alive, etc). they were good but it just drug on and i lost interest in one of the last few books of that arc and never picked it back up...i know after that Jacen Solo (one of Han and Leia's kids) becomes a Sith Lord
I rented this on BluRay today. Actually was pretty good since I was expecting complete crap. There were some inconsistencies in the storyline but who cares right? 7/10
