I goofed off for about three years in community college, but did end up getting my AA degree. Unfortunately it was in "General Studies" meaning I'm not really on track for anything. Although in those three years I did take quite a few business-type courses like Business English, Accounting I, Office Automation, software courses, etc.
So now I'm interested in getting my BA in something Business related like Business Administration through online courses.
I started by googling and my head is spinning. I'm not sure where to start and I'm afraid some of the content I was reading had ulterior motives like trying to steer me to University of Phoenix
Any advice?

First off, good for you for wanting to go back to school.
My advice is to NOT go to an online college. Those degrees are a dime a dozen (anybody can get them) and they're not going to be respected at the workplace. I couldnt imagine telling someone who was interviewing me that i got my degree at the University of Phoenix.

. Online degrees arent cheap either.
I would suggest you go to a local state school. I don't know where you live so i cant really suggest a school. You'll be better off in the long run.

I suppose I should have mentioned that I've been out of school for 13 years and have been in the workplace ever since. Since I work full time, I'm much more interested in online courses.
