I watched that game and Gregor Blanco bunted to get on base to break the no hit bid for Cueto. I thought it was an unwritten rule not to go for a bunt base hit when someone is on the path for a no hitter.

Other than that he looked superb from the first inning to the start of the 7th

I think it's an unwritten rule after a certain point in the game. You wouldn't do it in the ninth, for sure. Probably not the 8th or 7th either. With the Braves playing as bad as they are on the road, I doubt Cox had even a moments remorse in calling for the bunt and trying to get something started.

Even so, I thought the same thing when I heard the bunt on the radio.

Cueto is nice for starts @ home if you can work in the roster space for him.

And that bunt single was very lamesauce.
