A lot of people liked him after his amazing ST, he started off slow but now he's playing more and is starting to hit. Is he worth a look in deeper leagues?

Maybe in a 20 team league I'd take a look at him, but with Uribe off the DL it looks like Ramirez, Uribe and Ozuna will be splitting time depending on whos hot at the time.

"Alexei" ;-D

With playing time he'd be worth a spot in a 12 team league. I brought him up from the minors in one of my 16 team dynasty leagues this week and he's outproduced most everyone else on my team -- he's had a really great week.

He and Quentin have been the only hitters for CWS (Dye has been good too I guess) so it would be stupid to sit him for Uribe. Supposedly the plan is to put Uribe in, but that would probably be a bit of a death sentence...replacing a hot hitter with Mr. 0.220 Uribe would be illogical.

Anyway, yeah he has value. Stash him.

Ozzie Guillen went off on his offense today, saying that if the GM didn't make a move by Tuesday there would be big changes in the lineup. Ramirez has been one of the few Sox hitting lately so I think there's a good chance he'll move up in the order, hitting first or second.
Guillen has said that he likes Uribe better defensively but also hinted that he can't afford to trade Ramirez' bat for Uribe's glove while the offense is slumping.
Don't forget that Ramirez can play center and short--we could see him in cf once in awhile as Swisher has been as bad in center as at the plate.
My guess is that the "Cuban Missile" is a very good short term start with a good chance to win an everday position for the season.

Yep. I'm very interested to see what moves / changes are made. Could have a great deal of fantasy impact, for better or worse.
