I hear he's in better shape. Does anyone expect anything out of him this season?

I'm thinking breakout season. Either that, or complete waste of time. :-D

I have him ranked 13th, behind Jerry Hairston and in front of Mark Loretta. Might be a good sleeper, but there seems to be more medium-caliber (i.e. not stud, but not garbage either) players at 2B than in recent years, so Alomar is probably drafted as a late-round flyer to back up your more reliable 2B.

i am not ready to give up on him just yet. The guy never hit below .280 (until traded to NYM) and had 9 seasons above .300. He had 3 great seasons in Clev and then all of a sudden he is swallowed up by the black hole that is the NYM organization. Depending on where he ends up in the lineup I could easily see a .290/75R/50RBI/20SB year at the top of the order, maybe more ribbies at like a 3 spot. His power was probably a product of the Jake back in the late 90's and 15 HR would be lucky.
