Nathan is not even a closer anymore, with Wagner now in Philly. That said, he's worth a pickup, especially if your league counts holds. He was great for the giants last year, starting the season with something like 30 scoreless innings

Some Giants fan you are....Nathan is the closer in Min. Worrell went to the Phils not Nathan.
LBJ interesting that you have wrote page after page about Rhodes as bust of year, yet you rank him 2nd? Has the Cafe persuaded you?
Yeah it hurt me to rank him 2nd but you can't ignore the lack of competition in Oakland. And other than Rhodes and Nathan, there aren't any good closers on that list. Graves should actually be pretty good though, and might be under-rated. Wagner waiting in the wings deters me from thinking too highly of him though. Yet I have no idea why he was removed from the closer role after averaging 30+ saves per year in 4 straight seasons with a good ERA and WHIP. Were their starters THAT bad? Well, maybe. I guess you can't save games if you can't get a lead.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
I like Nathan as much as the next guy, however, you should keep in mind that the Giants organization lost confidence in the guy after the playoffs, hence one of the reasons why they agreed to trade him. So, it may be a little premature to give all this credit to Nathan. You may want to see how he does in a couple pressure situations first.
