Well, besides the fact that he was well before Pedro, his ERA averaged like high 2's then. Pedro had a sub 2 era season, and the rest low 2 era's during his awesome strech. Not even comparable.

I didn't say it was better-just an amazing stretch that has been forgotten or not revealed to many people. Great pitchers get talked about all the time but J.R. Richard doesn't get much mention.
