My 30-team league has been injury free but they are still 2-7 so maybe some DL time would have been beneficial. I have RL backups in three of the nine offensive positions so it's not going to get any better.
The only guy who has been in my DL spot this year is Borowski, and that's not really such a bad thing. I had Crisp go on the DL while he was on my roster, but that was a blessing since I only had him to cover for Ellsbury, who then got to play every day. I also had Soriano who I bought low while he was hurt, but he came back and tore it up.
Not a single crippling injury all year. You guys can go ahead and throw stuff me at now.
My pitching was doing very well so I was able to trade Lincecum on a Saturday. The next day Smoltz came out after 4 IP and he is now out for the season. 2 days after that Yovanni Gallardo hops over first base and is out for the season. A couple weeks later Pujols destroys Chris Youngs face and his season is now in jeopardy. And Bucholz breaks a finger nail and is sent down leaving me no choice but to drop him. I don't even wanna talk about Travis Hafner
