Wells was activated today but is not in todays lineup.

Wells came into the game in the 2nd inning with Shannon Stewart getting injured.

awesome - thanks for the update. I grabbed Wells the FA list yesterday, hoping he'd be back in a week or so. Good news that he's all ready back. Hopefully he'll regain form.

Wow I don't think i've ever been more wrong about an injury in my life :-b Was at the game yesterday and couldn't believe it when he replaced Stewart.

Looks pretty comfortable already. Looks like he will be slotted back into the cleanup role on a Jays team that *might* be starting to hit.

Wells left Saturday's game in the seventh inning with an apparent wrist injury.

Anyone have any information?

Per Rotoworld

Vernon Wells, who sat out the final two innings against the Cubs, said after Saturday's game that his wrist wasn't too sore.
Wells iced the wrist and said he'd see how he feels on Sunday. Even if he doesn't play then, he'll probably be fine to use next week.

Well we'll see. u know players and fragile ones like wells. They love to play thru injuries too even if it hurts their team(See wells last season)
