Are there any Rockies fans that can elaborate on the trade talk surrounding Fuentes? I am wondering if the talk is that he will be traded and stay closing for whoever picks him up ? I currently have him as one of my closers and I was just wondering if there have been any teams mentioned as being interested yet. It would seem like maybe the Braves or Brewers would be logical because of the injuries to their closers. I am not a general manager of a MLB team but no team would be willing to give what the Rockies would want for Fuentes unless it is a team expecting to give up some top notch prospects for him and they would almost have to atleast give him a shot at that job. Also Fuentes is a free agent this year and he should in return give the Rockies some draft picks. I just son't think he is a type of player you trade for just to pitch middle relief and I also don't think he is a player you give away for a so so player. Maybe I am just hoping that this happens but I would say that this is sort of the same situation Gagne was in last year when he was closing for Texas and was traded to Boston.

I think it would make perfect sense for him to be traded to the Yankees, which would obviously kill his value.
