A's OF got called up today. I don't see any news about it on Sportsline, but he started today, 2-3 2 2B, 1 RBI.

I know he's no Jay Bruce, but I had him stashed on my team all season. Maybe he can replace my failed trade of Joe Mauer for Brad Hawpe before the season started. (Mauer has 1 year left, and Hawpe has 4 on his keeper contract)

He's unlikely to stay up unless he goes on a serious tear, from what I understand.

I think he's just an injury replacement call-up for now, but I do have interest in the kid as he's on my farm in my dynasty league.

I know that some people think he is "5 tool sex on legs", but I can't help thinking that he is someone the A's will build up and sell high a'la Delmon Young and his .290something avg.
His minor league OBP and walk rate is pretty uninspiring, and he just doesn't seem like a player the A's will keep.
That is actually good news for fantasy players, because he could have a better home park in the not too distant future.
