With Sheffield ineffective, and now hurt, what are the odds we see Bonds in a Tigers uniform?

I personally don't think he'll play this year, but if there is a "best fit" situation for Barry, that might be it, even if the fit isn't so great. Oakland acquired Thomas, Seattle is rumored to be looking at Griffey, Jr, and I just can't see him playing for the Rays...

Bonds won't be in left field for the Tigers. Marcus Thames is finally getting a full time shot there and he has the ability to do very well.

His best fit is Toronto. But Retardi has all but come out and said ownership will not allow it. Instead they're going to end up trading their 2nd and 3rd best prospects for an Adam Dunn/Jason Bay.

I don't like Bonds but if the Jays signed him, and he put up a 950+ OPS, I wouldn't care about the circus he brought to town. The guy was still mashing and showing a hall of fame batting eye last year. Watching Stewert and Stairs ground into DP's everyday gets frustrating.

He'll be in prison within a year. Lying in front of a grand jury is a federal offense. Nobody wants that headache. Besides, assuming he's roid free, he'll weigh about 180lbs again. At 44, there's not much value even if "Little Barry" plays again.
