In my two major leagues I do not own him. But he has been dropped in the league that I commish and I am looking at grabbing him.
In Yahoo leagues over the last two days over 5000 people have dropped him. Do the Dodgers have someone coming to replace him? Am I missing something?
This kid has some value.
My Friendliness bar...recently shrunk from 11.3 to 10mm long!!

I own him in my 14 team league but I will be dropping him once Barmes comes off the DL and will pick up LaRoche to stash away. I think it is just a matter of time before he is called up because they have been trying him at different positions in the minors to help get him here faster. Not that he shouldn't be here now but it will give the Dodgers more options when he gets called back up.

I actually had him opening day but dropped him to grab Murphy when I had an OF go down (Not that Im complaining about Murphy at all). I think he is on a clock as the starter but I would definitely grab him in a dynasty since there is talk he could wind up as the 2B there next year, giving him a nice value jump. If he does take over for Kent I could see him as a top 10 2B potentially.

Remember that public leagues are not as deep. So if a player does not play every day, the thinking is to just pick up a regular everyday player, who will put up more stats due to more playing time. So those people may be entirely wrong.

.455 OBP more than makes up for a .267 BA if you ask me, especially for a player as young as LaRoche.

Rocinante2: you know
