Man...Pena's enthusiasm is really showing up in the players. If our young arms come through for us it could be an exciting year. I cherish the day when more than just Sweeney and Beltran's name come up during draft day. Well other than in jokes that is.

The middle of that lineup looks scary, with Beltran, Sweeney, and Raul Ibanez, but other than that, the Royals are pretty much hung out to dry. Maybe if Desi Relaford can turn it on and be the leadoff hitter that the Royals so desperately need. And where's the rotation? I've never seen a team with this little pitching, and I'm including the Reds when I say that.

Well so far Affeldt, Hernandez and May have been impressive. If our young bullpen can come through we should be ok. We have at least 4 or 5 guys in the pen that can reach 95 or better. Affeldt can gun it there to. So it depends how our pitching matures. Yeah there is no big name on the staff but you could have said that about Oakland a few years back as well.

I think Febles and Berroa are going to suprise some people.

Maybe my Royals FEB, MARCH, EARLY APRIL, optismism is showing through. :-)

he worked his way into and out aof a jam today, i think we could do well. the only problem that i see right now is that he gives up a ton of hits.
