He probably won't get many save chances with Smoltz coming back shortly, but he might be worth having in a holds league or worth grabbing if you are short on closers.

What makes you think that when Smoltzy comes back he will be the Braves closer? He is having some issues rehabbing his injury and all that has been announced it that he will be a part of the Atlanta bullpen. Now that Soriano is up, do you not think he will be looked at to be the Braves primary closer?

Smoltz will be the best pitcher in the bullpen and he has a successful history as a closer. He may pitch a little in middle relief to get started, but if he stays healthy the closer's job is his. The guy was phenomenal as a closer.

Smoltz is also expecting to return to the team on Monday.
